1. What are the delivery charges?

The delivery charge varies based on the product, package weight & delivery location.

All our products are shipped from our office in Bengaluru and based on the weight of the product, a nominal delivery fee is charged to support the logistics costs.

For all the orders above ₹1500, we provide free shipping within India.

 

2. What is the estimated delivery time?

The product is manufactured once the order id is received . So, delivery time for most of the products on GoingDesi takes 5 – 10 days to deliver based on the location and type of product.

The estimated delivery time also depends on the following factors:

  • Type of product ordered
  • Holidays and off-days for the delivery partner
  • The destination to which you want the order shipped

 

3. Are there any hidden costs (sales tax, octroi, etc) on items ordered on GoingDesi?

There are no hidden charges on any of the products. What you see on the final checkout page is what you pay. The final amount is inclusive of all taxes and delivery fee.

 

4. Why does the estimated delivery time vary for each product?

Orders on GoingDesi are fulfilled on-demand which means the product is manufactured once the order id received from the customer. So, based on the product category and demand, the timelines vary for each order.

Most of the products on GoingDesi gets delivered to the customer anywhere between 2 – 10 days.

 

5. Why is the COD option not offered to me?

The availability of COD depends on the ability of our courier partner servicing your location to accept cash as payment at the time of delivery. In rare cases, where the delivery partner might not be able to take COD, we will refuse the COD option and online payment will have to be made.

 

6. What is the return policy for products on GoingDesi?

Since we work only on-demand basis, every order is fulfilled keeping a single customer in mind. So the store allows returns only in the case of damaged/defective products.

We take special care to ensure that your order is tested for any defects and reaches you in perfect condition. But in the rare event of any damage incurred during shipping, please notify us within 48 hours with proof of the damage and we will initiate a replacement.

 

7. I need to return an item, how do I arrange for a pick-up?

Returns are easy with us. If in case you want to initiate a refund or exchange on the damaged product, you can contact us directly or send your request to support@goingdesi.com.

We will arrange a convenient pick-up time for you through our delivery partners at the scheduled and return it back to us. Please mind that the product needs to be returned back unused, untampered and with all the items in the original packaging.

 

8. How much time does it take to get the refund?

All the refund requests need to be accepted and processed manually.

Once we receive the package back from our delivery partner, we will inspect the product manually and approve your refund. This usually takes 3-4 days and the customer is notified. Once the refund is approved, the amount will be processed within 2-3 working days to your original payment method.

 

9. Does GoingDesi deliver internationally?

As of now, GoingDesi doesn’t deliver items internationally.

You will be able to make your purchases on our site from anywhere in the world with credit/debit cards issued in India and 21 other countries, but please ensure the delivery address is in India.
